ROB ZOMBIE Guitarist JOHN 5 Talks 'Rock Against MS' Benefit Concert, 'Rockstar Energy Mayhem'

March 21, 2013

Argentinean rock journalist Lucas H. Gordon, who currently resides in Hollywood, California, conducted an interview with guitarist John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON) this past Monday (March 18) following a press conference at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California to announce the sixth-year lineup for Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. You can watch the chat below.

John 5's latest full-length solo CD/DVD, "God Told Me To", was released on May 8, 2012 via Rocket Science Ventures. The effort was recorded and produced by John 5, Chris Baseford (ROB ZOMBIE, TOMMY LEE) and Bob Marlette (SEBASTIAN BACH, BLACK SABBATH) in 2011. The cover art for the album was illustrated by none other than Rob Zombie, who also tapped John 5 to score the entirety of his upcoming film, "The Lords Of Salem".

ROB ZOMBIE's new album, "Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor", will be released on April 23 on Zodiac Swan/T-Boy/Ume. The CD was produced by Bob Marlette, who has previously worked with everyone from BLACK SABBATH and ALICE COOPER to WILSON PHILLIPS and LYNYRD SKYNYRD.
